We are happy to announce that the research group "Dealing with blurred boundaries" will host a one-day workshop with Jason Stanley on 5 July 2012.
The event is entitled "Vagueness in Context" and will consist of talks by
- Jason Stanley (Rutgers)
- Nikola Kompa (Osnabrück) and
- Alexander Dinges (Berlin).
It will take place in Room 3103 ("Hegel room") in the East Wing of the Humboldt University main building.

From Friday, 20 January to Saturday, 21 January 2012, we will be hosting the conference "Vague Language - Vague Law?" at Freiburg University, Freiburg, Germany.
The aim of the conference is to address the impact of linguistic vagueness on the law from different perspectives. The speakers are leading experts from the fields of law, linguistics and philosophy and include the following:
